Product Development Manager

Established in 1992 JCM Seating Solutions Ltd, has grown to become one of the largest specialised seating manufacturers in the UK.
Focusing on the mobility/disability sector of the healthcare industry, we have created a range of products designed to support the postural needs of disabled children 24/7.
Capable of addressing specific individual requirements, these products facilitate positive postural management for every area of a child’s daily routine and thus contribute directly to an improved quality of life, both for users and their carers.
Following an extensive period of developing our product range, we now seek an experienced Product Development Manager to help deliver the Company's ambitious growth plans for the coming year and beyond in further developing our new and existing product offerings for both UK and overseas markets.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director you will be responsible for the New Product Development programme, managing the design team, co-ordinating supply with both the internal manufacturing team and external suppliers and ensuring compliance for relevant quality standards.
This exciting opportunity will appeal to those in a product development or operational role who possess a relevant engineering degree or equivalent with the drive, vision, commitment and determination to extend our dynamic product range. Candidates should have a demonstrable track record of achievement having worked previously in an autonomous environment.
Previous experience in a healthcare sales environment and a sound working knowledge of the NHS and private healthcare markets are highly desirable.
